From the moment we meet you in Guatemala City, your trip is handled privately by our team — fishing aboard the 40' Decisive, your own Billfish Inn experience, meals, transfers and everything needed on the water.
A proven Gamefisherman platform reserved for your private fishing group.
Your group enjoys a private villa experience. We do not mix unrelated fishing parties.
Private-room accommodation is arranged according to your group and package configuration.
Private transfers, meals, tackle, boat hospitality and our team coordinate the trip from arrival to departure.
Selected 25th Season departures through January 7 are personally captained by Brad. From January 7 onward, Decisive continues the Guatemala season with our GBA Elite Crew and the same private GBA hospitality.
Package length changes with the number of fishing days, but the core GBA experience remains the same.

Billfish Inn is designed around the fishing group, not around a traditional hotel experience.
Once your fishing dates are secured, we can personalize the rest of the trip and add everything to the same reservation.

Before You Book
Simple terms designed to protect your dates, your fishing time and your Guatemala trip.
Once your dates and package are confirmed, a 50% deposit is required within 15 days to secure your reservation.
Payment may be made by wire transfer or check. Please email proof of a wire transfer or let us know when your check has been mailed.
Please allow approximately 2 business days for postage and an additional 4 days for check clearance by our Guatemalan bank.
If the deposit has not cleared by the end of the 15-day period and no alternative arrangement has been agreed, the reservation may be released.
The remaining 50% balance is due 6 weeks before the start of your fishing trip.
We will send a reminder. Please allow sufficient mailing and processing time when paying by check.
Weather cancellations are rare in Guatemala. If your Captain determines that conditions are unsafe, credit will be issued for that fishing day.
When possible, the day may be added to the current trip. Otherwise, the value will be credited toward a future trip.
If a guest chooses not to fish for personal comfort or other reasons when the Captain has not cancelled the fishing day, no credit will be issued.
In the unlikely event of a mechanical breakdown, we will first attempt to provide a suitable replacement boat.
If no alternative is available, a full fishing-day credit will be issued toward a future trip. If that is not possible, the affected fishing day will be refunded.
Within 30 days of your trip: No automatic refund is available. We will attempt to resell your dates. If successful, you will receive a refund of 50% of the package price, less a $150 cancellation fee per person.
More than 30 days before your trip: If we successfully resell the fishing days and rooms, your booking is fully refundable less the $150 cancellation fee per person.
If the dates cannot be resold, you will receive a 50% refund, less the applicable cancellation fee.
If you have an early departure flight and prefer to stay near the airport after your final fishing day, we can arrange your transfer to a hotel in Guatemala City.
Please notify us in advance. A small adjustment may be made to your package quote.
